Gone is the massive 5.0 L V10 FSI biturbo engine, in it’s place the latest RS model is expected to show off the true potential of Audi’s latest 4.0 TFSI power house. We can expect the engine output to match if not out perform the outgoing C6s 571 bhp. Currently we haven’t heard any rumors about the RS 6 making it to North America. However, considering the downturn in the European economy and Audi’s push to sell more cars in North America we can only hope!
Via Fourtitude:
Just in from spy photographers in the coldest areas of Sweden are shots of one very interesting looking black A6-based Avant. With more aggressive front fascia (spotted on some earlier test mules) a wider track and add-on fender flares, there’s no doubting that this is a preproduction prototype of the RS 6 Avant. Big ceramic brakes underneath A8 wheels only seem to further confirm the car’s RS status.
