A few weeks ago at NorthWest Auto Salon I got my B5 Audi S4 in for a much needed full detail! I have had this car a year and a half and confess that I have not once given it a proper detail. I kept it clean, but the paint was in terrible shape and was in need of some skilled detailing help. I am very lucky to live near the Premier detailing facility in the Northwest. Northwest Auto Salon provides simply the best quality detailing you could desire. Best of all NW Auto Salon is owned and operated by Audi die hards and QuattroWorld members!
They started with a handwash and spent extra time on the wheels to get them extremely clean inside the barrels as well as the wheel faces. Then they claybar’ed off about 10lbs worth of contaminants on my paint surface. On silver cars its usually hard to see scratches and wash swirls but on my car it was clearly visible. They then went ahead and buffed my car with a Rotary and a medium polishing compound, then followed up by another polish to remove the buffer swirls and to give the paint that extra pop. Somewhere in there was also a sexy foam bath treatment.
After a paint sealant was applied, it was allowed time to cure and they started the interior. The interior was pretty trashed on my car as I have a 4 year old that spends a lot of time in the car and it showed. All the vinyl surfaces were cleaned and conditioned, as well as the leather. The carpets and mats were shampooed and then extracted.
The exterior paint sealant was then wiped off, and my car received the NWAS “Stacking” treatment which is something they do after sealant with a coat of Carnuba wax. They have 3 different levels and my car got the top treatment of a coat of Swissvax Crystal Rock which is an $1100 bottle of wax. Yeah that’s right I have rockstar level wax on my car!
When all is said and done, I have never seen my car, let alone any silver car look the way it did when they were done with it. I couldn’t be happier with the results! Here are some photos of the work done to my car the day my car was at NW Auto Salon. Not only does my car stay cleaner longer now, I find that it is much easier to wash and maintain that fresh detail appearance! Thanks again NWAS ☺

Now you made me really bang my head against the wall! I’ve seriously neglected the dub in this manner. It’s kept clean but its that surface clean, not the deep clean! We have a lot of rail dust too!
