Hmmmmm, I wonder why Audi woudl be embarking on a marketing campaign for All Roads? Could it be they plan to release a new All Road to the North American Market soon? That woudl be awesome!
It’s for the A4 Allroad not the A6 allroad. Audi is trying to convince the enthusiasts that the A4 allroad is the allroad. If only they put their effort into marketing avants.
Yes, AoA has today (just today, I believe) posted a teaser for a new 2013 allroad, which, with its 2.0 liter engine with 258 ft-lb of torque is clearly an A4. And there is mention of paddle shifters and no manual transmission, at least in the photo of the EU-spec car.
Wish they could a thrown us a morsel, like a manual transmission. Or diesel. Or both.
I’d rather have a regular A4 Avant. Lighter and lower to the ground.
Good try though.
My S8 passed 120k recently; I’ll hang onto it a little longer…
Still kicking myself for letting my B7 3.2 6MT S-Line Avant go off lease…….
Footnote: allroad enthusiasts outside the US go fly a kite
