Most of us will only have the opportunity to visit the yearly auto shows that are within driving distance of our homes. For myself, that has been Toronto and Detroit. Therefore, like most Audi fans who frequent QuattroWorld, I have looked forward to experiencing the major international auto shows through the coverage provided here by QuattroWorld. Between the text and the photos I come away satisfied, but always wishing I had been there myself.
Well the status quo changed for me just over a year ago when I moved to the city of Doha in Qatar. Two months after arriving I was fortunate enough to experience the inaugural Qatar Motor Show in 2011. As the 2012 edition of the show approached I thought I would contact Josh and see if he would be interested in having me provide some coverage for QuattroWorld. With two thumbs up from Josh I set out with my camera and a press pass to see the show through fresh eyes!
