Audi today announced its lineup for the 2016 Model Year, including full line pricing and numerous vehicle additions and enhancements.

Continuing its growth strategy with a focus on balanced performance – enhancements in technology, innovative design and driving dynamics that help improve efficiency and performance, Audi announces its 2016 Model Year lineup. In the 2016 model year vehicles, more features become standard across the model line-up and more options are integrated into packages. Technology packages, including an enhanced Head-up display – are now standard on more Audi models than ever before. The first in the 2016 model line to be introduced are the updated 2016 Audi A6 and A7 models. The A3 family continues setting new standards in the entry premium market, with impressive standard features and an available 4G LTE data connection.

Audi today introduced Audi on demand, an innovative mobility program that gives customers a new way to experience the Audi brand and its range of vehicles at the touch of a button. With Audi on demand, customers can reserve an Audi by the day for up to 28 days.  The premium service is currently available in San Francisco as part of a beta program and will be rolled out across additional U.S. cities in the coming years.

Audi sets 52nd consecutive monthly U.S. sales record in April 2015

AUDI AG continues to grow: despite the model changeover for the A1* and Q3* in Europe and a shortened sales month in China, the company exceeded prior-year sales in February. Around 122,550 customers opted for the four rings last month, up 4.2 percent. Strong growth was achieved with the now globally available A3 family* (+47.4%) and the latest generation of the A6* (+10.8%). Since the start of the year, worldwide deliveries across all models are up 7.4 percent to around 260,250.

2016 Audi A6 earns IIHS highest rating of Top Safety Pick+

Newly refreshed for the 2016 model year, the Audi A6 has earned the rating of Top Safety Pick+ when equipped with the available Driver Assistance package and produced after January 2015. Top Safety Pick+ is the highest 2015 rating available from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The 2016 A6 recently underwent the IIHS Small Overlap Front Crash test and received the highest possible rating of “good”.

Audi CEO Rupert Stadler at Annual Press Conference: “We delivered more in 2014 than promised”

With a new record for deliveries of more than 1.74 million automobiles, Audi for the first time increased its revenue to more than €53 billion in 2014. Operating profit amounted to €5.15 billion and the operating return on sales of 9.6 percent was at the upper end of the strategic target corridor of eight to ten percent. After taking increased financial income into consideration, profit before tax increased to approximately €6 billion. The return on sales before tax was 11.1 percent. By 2020, Audi plans to expand its product range to 60 models. The brand with the Four Rings will therefore invest more than €24 billion in new products and technologies by 2019, and is continually expanding its global production network. Worldwide, the Audi Group plans to recruit more than 6,000 new employees in 2015 to strengthen its workforce with experts as it moves along its strategic growth path. The company intends to deliver more premium cars than in the previous year once again in 2015.
