Following the successful A3 Sedan launch, Audi of America is preparing for the next cadence of A3 family members to join the market. Today, AoA is excited to announce pricing for the all-new MY15 Audi A3 Cabriolet, A3 TDI Sedan, and S3 Sedan models. These new models offer consumers in the premium compact vehicle segment an additional body style and unique engines, further distinguishing Audi from the rest of the entry-level luxury segment.

Audi of America 2015 Model Year Information

All new for 2015, the A3 launches as a Sedan in 1.8 TFSI (FWD) and 2.0 TFSI (quattro) configurations. Later in the year the S3 Sedan, Sportback TDI, Sportback e-tron and Cabrio will join the lineup. We’ve highlighted the noticeable changes from 2014 across the line up below with most of them being minimal with several options being renamed and consoldiated. The Q7 is the standout gaining 5 new option packages. The S6 and S7 gain standard LED Headlights and Head up display. While, 2015 also brings the retirement of the MK2 TT as we are expecting the MK3 to arrive early next year.

Audi today debuts a new advertising campaign for the all-new 2015 Audi A3 sedan. The campaign kicks off with a 60-second television commercial called “Dues” starring comedian Ricky Gervais, celebrity chef David Chang, internationally-acclaimed photojournalist Lynsey Addario, comedian Kristen Schaal, gold medal winning boxer Claressa Shields, street artists Cyrcle, and inner city church choir Voices of Destiny.

Audi Tradition is stepping on the gas for the 2014 season. Car enthusiasts will be able to see the historic vehicles at more than 25 events all over Europe. In Monaco, legendary Formula 1 driver Jacky Ickx will himself be at the wheel when the 1938 Auto Union Silver Arrow Type C from 1938 takes to the roads of the principality. At the Eifel Rallye Festival, Stig Blomqvist is celebrating the 30th anniversary of his World Rally Championship title. This year, Audi Tradition’s presence at the world’s largest classic car exhibition, the “Techno Classica,” puts the emphasis on motorsport: On a stand area of more than 700 square meters (7,535 square feet), historic treasures from the company’s history will be on display.

Audi is expanding its ultra strategy with 11 new models: Especially efficient engine versions in the A4, A5 and A6 model lines will be launched in early 2014. A new and powerful two-liter TDI will provide the drive at 100 kW (136 hp), 120 kW (163 hp) or 140 kW (190 hp); the engine emits just 104 to 119 grams of CO2 per kilometer (167.37 to 191.51 g/mile) depending on the model.

Dealerships Elevate the Audi Brand at New “Terminal” Showrooms

When Audi Milwaukee celebrated the grand opening of its new dealership recently, it had a little help cutting the ribbon. Scott Keogh, President of Audi of America, lent a hand, declaring that the Audi brand is built not in factories or executive offices but in the community of enthusiasts.

While it might seem surprising for Audi brass to have traveled to a local event, their presence underscored the importance of dealership investment in the Audi brand. How much is that worth in dollars and sales? In an exclusive interview with QuattroWorld prior to the festivities, Keogh and Ralph Mauro, owner of Audi Milwaukee, offered a look under-the-hood at the interrelationship between Audi and its franchisees.

New machinery for Audi’s Toolmaking

Even more dynamic and exact, even stronger and more efficient – since yesterday, seven new and efficient high-precision machines have been officially in operation in Audi’s Toolmaking department. Dr. Frank Dreves, Board of Management Member for Production at AUDI AG, Peter Mosch, Chairman of Audi’s Group Labor Council, and Michael Breme, Head of Toolmaking, inaugurated the new presses and milling machines. The new machines will help to keep toolmaking fit for the future at the site in Ingolstadt.

Audi achieves 31st consecutive month of record U.S. sales in July

Audi today reported July 2013 sales of 13,064 vehicles, an 11.6% increase over the previous July record set last year. July also stands as the brand’s 31st consecutive month of record sales. Audi sales YTD increased 13.6% to 87,341 vehicles sold. 

First to market: Audi brings the new LTE standard to the car

Audi is the first carmaker to bring the fast LTE data transfer standard to the car with full integration. It can be ordered as an option in the Audi S3 Sportback from July, and in all other model variants of the premium compact from early November. LTE technology is very important for Audi connect, the networking of the car with the driver, the Internet and the environment.
