Video: APR Stage 1 S7 4.0 TFSI vs Stock – Acceleration Test!

To follow up with last weeks release of the APR S6/S7 4.0 TFSI ECU Upgrade Teaser the latest video shows an overlay of the Stage 1 vs Stock. The APR Tuned S7 is 2.2 seconds faster from 60 mph to 130 mph. They have wrapped up development and will shortly be releasing the power figures and sales information.

APR S6/S7 4.0 TFSI ECU Upgrade Teaser

Our friends at APR are hard at work tuning the latest power plant from Ingolstadt. The twin-turbo 420 HP 4.0L TFSI V8 is incredible in stock form and one of the best engines currently available on the market. APR has brought the S6/S7 to the power levels of the S8 with just software.

Continue below to watch this 4,300 Lb S7 accelerate to 6 in the low 3′s and continue to 160 MPH.

The 600 HP APR Stage 3 Audi TTRS

Our friends over at DRIVE posted their latest TUNED video. Matt Farah headed to Opelika, Alabama Home of APR to test drive the prototype 600 HP TT RS stage-3. We’ve driven the stock TT RS several times and can only imagine how awesome it is with extra power. APRs bolt-on kits have proven themselves over and over with many owners running cars with well over 150,000 miles on the clock. APR has shipped test kits all over the world to aid in the development and ensure there won’t be any issues globally and wrack up as many miles as possible.

APR Audi R8 V10 ECU Upgrade – Eye and Ear Candy!

Today APR released their latest work of their new in-house video team. It features APR Grand-AM R8 driver Jim Norman’s R8 V10 Spyder. Jim recently purchased the car after driving the Grand-Am R8 and sent it to Alabama to have APRs engineers work their tuning magic. The APR R8 ECU upgrade for the R8 V10 adds 59 horsepower and 53 ft-lb of torque. This allows the R8 to surpass the Gallardo Superleggera. We will let the video speak for it self. 

APR continues to refine the 3.0T ECU

APR’s Engineering Teams have finished final testing of a new ECU Calibration for the Stage I and Stage II+ ECU Upgrades. The results are an additional 20-30 Horsepower and ft-lbs of torque depending on operating conditions, and the addition of APR Motorsport features designed to enhance your driving experience.

Accompanying these updates, all ECU’s flashed with APR’s v2.0 software will be subject to subsequent updates via OBD-II port reflashes through APR’s world wide distribution network.
