Trailer: APR Rolex 24 at Daytona 2013


For the 2013 season, APR entered two Audi R8 Grand-Ams. This was APR and Audi’s second Rolex 24 race in history and after 24 hours of racing the first two across the line were both Audi R8s. Keep an eye out for the full video release soon!

APR continues to refine the 3.0T ECU

APR’s Engineering Teams have finished final testing of a new ECU Calibration for the Stage I and Stage II+ ECU Upgrades. The results are an additional 20-30 Horsepower and ft-lbs of torque depending on operating conditions, and the addition of APR Motorsport features designed to enhance your driving experience.

Accompanying these updates, all ECU’s flashed with APR’s v2.0 software will be subject to subsequent updates via OBD-II port reflashes through APR’s world wide distribution network.

APR Motorsport: High Hopes for Season Finale at Mid-Ohio

The final round of the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge begins today with APR Motorsport looking to finish the season on a strong note. After a 6-week lapse between New Jersey and Mid-Ohio, APR was able to work quickly to bring a couple new contenders to the challenge. It’s shaping up to be an action packed three-day weekend here in Grand-Am.

APR Motorsport Build Thread: The New S4 Race Car

Arin from APR has updated the build thread over on the forums for the new APR S4 Grand Sport ‘GS’ entry into the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. Remember to keep an eye on the thread as the build progresses.

For those interested the ‘GS’ racers start as a stock car and from there all of the fancy parts are stripped from the car and the transformation begins. For those interested APR is selling all the removed components and you should contact them for the details.

We are looking forward to seeing the build progression as well the car competing on the track next year!

APR S4 suffers massive crash during the Bosch Engineering 200 at VIR

33 minutes ago the APR S4 was showing progress and moving up in position after a caution lap. Shortly after that the race abruptly ended for the S4 after suffering a crash as the race went back to green. As we can see from the pictures there’s massive damage to the car. Luckily the driver Gary Gibson was unhurt and was able to walk away. QuattroWorld would like to wish to the best to the APR Motorsports team and hope to see the S4 back on the track as soon as possible.

As of 15 minutes ago the GTIs piloted by Ryan Ellis in the 171 and Chris Gleason in the 181 is running in first and third.
