Audi claims victory at the 79th running of the 24 hours of Le Mans! André Lotterer was able to maintain an incredible pace and setting the fastest lap at (3m 25.289) on lap 229. He was able to successfully navigate the artificial traffic caused by the Peugeot drivers in an attempt to slow him down and crossed the finish line victoriously! The race was a dramatic one with both the #1 car and #3 cars exiting the race in very scary wrecks that destroyed the car. The #2 car set the standard early by taking pole position but they did not lead throughout the race. Once they were the only car left you could tell the stakes were raised much higher. We are so excited for the entire team at Audi Sport and are very thankful for allowing us to share this experience with them! Congratulation to Leena Gade as she is the very first woman engineer to represent the winning team at Le Mans! We will post more pictures and news soon so stay tuned!

The 1980 Geneva Motor Show saw the debut of an automobile, whose name went on to become more than just a symbol for a long line of success by the manufacturer. The quattro from Audi is also the gold standard for the combination of winning motor sport qualities with the utmost in everyday practicality.
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the debut of the quattro, Audi is presenting a show car at the 2010 Paris Motor Show that moves a futuristic interpretation of this concept into the fast lane: the Audi quattro concept, a thoroughbred driving machine with 300 kW (408 hp), five-cylinder turbocharged engine, a lightweight body and – of course – the latest generation of quattro permanent all-wheel drive.
The very first glimpse of the new Col de Turini White show car awakens memories of another legendary ancestor: the 1984 Sport quattro, a 306 hp evolutionary stage of the Audi quattro Coupé with a shortened wheelbase. In fact, the Audi quattro concept also represents the systematic further development of a production coupé using high-performance technology. The foundation is provided by the powerful Audi RS 5, one of the brand’s sportiest production vehicles ever.

No doubt that there will be RS5 drivers who are willing to give their new toy away for an hour. The reward for this short abstinence: a top speed of 303 km/h. This is available with help of the MTM V-Cantronic: a small additional control device, which can be built in by MTM partners or directly at MTM in Wettstetten/Ingolstadt, without any complex reconstruction. The V-Cantronic removes the factory speed limiter of 250 or 280 km/h to 303 km/h. The owners who wait four more hours will be rewarded by a double flood stainless steel exhaust system and the most famous side will be designed definitely sportier and more individual: the rear of the 450 HP sportscar, that Audi started to deliver the last days.
- Top speed of 303 km/h, thanks to MTM V-Cantronic
- MTM exhaust system and MTM rims in the Bimoto Design are available
The Audi refiner MTM from Wettstetten offers the first components, which make the RS5 even sportier and even if the power enhancement for the 450 HP engine keeps us waiting, the top speed of 303 km/h is a foretaste of the future MTM RS5. The costs: 1.499 Euros. The stainless steel exhaust system proposed by MTM is with throttle valves and offers not only a good looking rear view with black end pipes (ceramic coating with MTM writing), but also a new sound. The costs: starting at 2.998 Euros.
An individually adjustable spring-kit is in development.
Typically MTM: the nine –spokes Bimoto rims, which are available in 19”, 20” and 21” for the RS5. The 20” Bimoto forged is a special quality . On top of that, MTM advises a MTM spacers-kit, which widens about 20mm. Price for the MTM rims set and tyres start from 2.249 Euros (19”).
