Audi AG is celebrating passing the 500,000 fan mark on Facebook. To celebrate this event, they hired one of our very favorite Audi Sport drivers, Dindo Capello to take to the wheel of an Audi R8 V10 to do something special for their fans. What they came up with was a very cool stunt video with an awesome ending. Watch it below and let us know what you think!
This weekend marks one of the biggest car shows in the North East! The Carlisle Import Show runs all day saturday at the Carlisle fairgrounds in Carlisle, PA. The celebrations start on Friday night with a special viewing party of the Truth in 24 II at the Carlisle Theatre. This viewing will have special guests Brad Kettler from Audi Sport, as well as Scott Keogh, Chief Marketing Officer for Audi USA and Mark Fruechtnicht, Audi product planning. In addition, Audi Mechanicsburg will be hosting an Audi breakfast starting at 8am. If you live within driving distance of any of these events, we highly encourage you to join in!

When my friends at ByDesign in Saudi Arabia posted a shot of some cars in their shop recently, a certain Glut Orange R8 caught my eye. I persuaded my friend Cooper Naitove who is over there working with them right now to get us an exclusive photoshoot of this rare beauty to share with our readers (that’s you!). Cooper not only did a proper photo shoot but sent us some of the most breathtaking R8 pictures we’ve ever seen. The R8 featured here is a custom ordered Audi Exclusive R8 featuring Glut Orange paint and a fully matched interior with Orange leather and highlights. These are the first pictures of the Audi e-tron chassis testing mules. We spied a test team with two 100% electric R8 e-tron models. In their support was a Quick Charger where they will charge the prototypes over night. You can see that they don’t have any exhausts. The rear window is covered in black and the front grill has already the e-tron logo. This full electric version will be launched later this year in a limited edition for more than 100.000 Euros. Our spy photographers have been busy lately as quattro GmbH has been using the nice weather to take advantage of testing opportunities for many of their up coming cars. The latest example of this brings us the clearest shots yet of the upcoming new Audi S3. We caught him today in a white color, free of camouflage. Trademark of the new S3 will be the big exhausts pipes at the rear, two on each side. It will most likely be powered from a upgraded 2.0 turbocharged four cylinder with 280 horsepower. All S3 models will come with Quattro all-wheel drive, and the S tronic twin-clutch transmission is available now too. Enjoy the images!
