If you have been watching the Olympics at all, the you have certainly seen the commercials from Audi which mock BMW and their 2nd place results against the Q5, A6 and S4. For us Audi aficionados, these commercials have been very entertaining to say the least. Audi has BMW on its heels with this aggressive ad campaign and we’ve been waiting to see what BMW would do in response. Well the guys over at AutoSpies.com have posted up a mailing they just received. I must say I’m a bit disappointed. I thought that BMW would put up a better fight. Really BMW? You respond to Audi’s claim of their car being superior in performance and quality by uhhhhh making your car cheaper? I think we know who the winner (still) is! Nice try though BMW…

Well, at least my M3 doesn’t require upper control arm replacement every 40K miles. Or leak oil and coolant. Oh yeah…and it gets better mileage. No quattro, though, and the audi is nicer interior. Potaytoe, Potahto.
BMW is letting their cars ability to outperform Audi speak for itself.
Alright Audi aficionados… In the Audi commercial above, the father and son are racing slot cars. I don’t suppose Audi was clever enough to use an Audi and a BMW for the racecars? That would be awesome!
Its funny, my friends always try to convince me to race because they have to disprove BMW’s track record. I let the historical presedence of the blue and white logo on my hood speak for itself..
