The Photography of Lars Mahlberg: Audi S5 Sportback

It’s been a little while but are back with another gallery from Lars Mahlberg. This time his subject is a stunning brown Audi S5 sportback. We are a big fan of the sportback and would love to see them available here in the US at some point. Until then we can enjoy these photos from Germany.

Follow the links for his previous TT gallery and RS 3 gallery

Lars can be reached on Facebook and at his Website

Me thinks Austin is not in Audi’s demographics, no?

Audi’s picky choosey offerings for North American markets has allowed its position in the market as an innovator to become rather watered down. When a product, especially one that inherently makes more sense towards fulfilling consumers needs, a la diesel avants over heavier SUVs begins to lose traction in regards to sales numbers, the proper play is a more properly executed marketing strategy. Not, simply removing them from the market. Its cars like the S5 sportback, the rs6 avant, and higher powered diesel avants that will attract people to the more utilitarian and profitable offerings. So, not bringing these cars over is a cop out and the wrong play all together.

    Austin,

Just buy a 70K Mercedes and move on. It’s hard not owning an Audi for the 1st time since I was 18 but if AOA can’t get it then screw em.
