HERNDON, Va., Jul 23, 2009 - Audi today announced that the U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the highly anticipated 2010 Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro V10 sports car will start at $146,000, with shipments to authorized Audi R8 dealerships across the country beginning this week.

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. (AP) ― Economic development officials say a California company that designs performance-enhancing parts for Audi cars will set up shop in the Eastern Panhandle.
STaSIS Engineering of Sonoma, Calif., will move into Summit Point Motorsports Park in Jefferson County, relocating about a dozen current engineers.
Summit Point’s owners say STaSIS will be operational by October. They say it was motivated partly by the relocation of Audi headquarters to nearby Herndon, Va.
Commerce Secretary Kelley Goes says the state enticed StaSIS with $2 million in low-interest loans.

WaterWerks NW is the largest Audi and VW car show in the Northwest and was held once again at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma, Washington. Event organizers put on a great show and surpassed expectations for all those in attendance. The event spanned over a 2 day period and featured a full autocross course, a huge vendor area, a large show car with hundreds of cars and a show and shine area as well. Quattroworld had a booth where we handed out stickers and plate frames to the many Audi owners and fans that stopped by the booth.

Audi Press Release: HERNDON, Va., Jul 17, 2009 - Audi today released pricing for the 2010 model-year Audi A4 sedan, Audi A5 coupe and Audi Q5 crossover vehicle, which are headed to authorized Audi dealerships to meet strong consumer demand.
Audi moved sales of the 2010 models ahead a few weeks following a successful sell-down of the previous model-year inventory. Sales of the 2009 Audi A5, for example, finished June 168% ahead of the sales pace set a year earlier. Demand for the all-new Audi Q5 has been exceptionally strong since its February introduction to consumers with sales hitting 5,701 so far this year.
